Closed BOK Sushi Bar
Favoritenstraße 8
1040 Vienna

Reviewed 16. Mar 2007

BOK is my favourite place to go for lunch. They offer sushi and a few other Asian dishes, most of them can be ordered vegan/vegetarian to. I especially recommend Tori Bento.

Closed Café Bendl
Landesgerichtsstraße 6
1010 Vienna

Reviewed 16. Mar 2007

It's a dirty fucked-up place where all kinds of people meet from members of parliament (which is around the corner) to real bums. Recommended drink: "Koksi" (like coke), that's 80% rum with coffee beans and sugar.

Closed Cafe Katzung
Herzog-Friedrich-Straße 16
6020 Innsbruck

Reviewed 12. Mar 2008

If you are in Innsbruck (probably another Vice Party or Air + Style) and your hotel's breakfast sucks Cafe Katzung will cater your needs. Order "Vital Frühstück" it simply contains every item on the menu, so you'll get all the fat and vitamins you haven't been looking for.

Closed Da Giovanni
Donaufelder Straße 19
1210 Vienna

Reviewed 20. Feb 2008

Da Giovanni has been around for more than 30 years (at least). It's a classic old-school pizzeria sporting a lot of Floridsdorf/Donaufeld atmo.

Closed Forstwirt
Dorf 25
5652 Dienten am Hochkönig

Reviewed 03. Mar 2008

This gay little place is not really easy to get to but it's definitely worth the trip. The Forstwirt is run by Luis and Lois, the later being an extraordinary chef. There's no other personnel and no menu. You'll have to take whatever is prepared that day. Usually this comprises soup, salad, a large chunk of meat and desert.

Closed Le Bol
Neuer Markt 14

Reviewed 04. Jun 2007

The best French breakfast in Vienna.

But the service is slow and sometime the kitchen runs out of food.

Closed SAPA
Lindengasse 35
1070 Vienna

Reviewed 23. Mar 2007

Sapa offers the best Vietnamese food in town. Needless to say that the whole menu (!) comes in a vegetarian version too. They also do catering!

Gumpendorfer Strasse 3

great food where no drop of oil is spilled. if you ever chose to eat polenta there, make sure you do exercise afterwards and skip desert. it will keep hunger away for days.
other than that oysters, schilcher sturm, excellent desserts...
