I basically grew up in this place, but I'm not sure if that is a good thing...
Paddy O'Briens, also know as "The Irish House" is one of the most polarizing Irish Pubs in the city. You either love it or hate it. I'll try and give you an objective overview:
Pros:
- Cheap
- Centrally located
- Cider and Guinness
- Even cheaper specials during the week
- Usually full
Cons:
- Too full
- Smokey as hell
- The toilets
- Tons of "kiddies"
- Due to the great prices loads of drunks later in the evening...
Don't be fooled btw, the main part of the pub is in the cellar, the first floor is only the gateway... ;)
