Seit zwei Jahren arbeite ich im 14. gleich gegenüber vom Hietzinger EKZ, das leicht via einen Fußgängerübergang über den Wienfluss erreichbar wäre. Heute war ich zum ersten Mail da drüben und entdecke das "goodmoodfood". Auf den ersten Blick Sehr ansprechend, allerdings zur warmen Jahreszeit mit Sicherheit noch mehr, da man draußen sitzen kann. Drinnen ist nur sehr wenig Platz, die "Tische" muss man sich teilen. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist sehr abwechslungsreich - für jeden Wochentag kann man aus verschiedenen Kategorien (Suppe, Pasta, Reis, Gebackenes) eine Speise wählen. Insgesamt ergibt sich eine interessante Mischung die den Flair von Asiatischem mit jenem heimischer Bioläden verbindet. Zurückgegriffen wird sowohl auf "exotische" Ingredientien als auch auf regionales Obst und Gemüse, das - soweit ich gesehen habe - aus biologischem Anbau stammt. Würd ich jetzt definitiv öfter hingehn, wenn ich nicht demnächst den Job wechseln würd.

the ronahi is my favourite cafe/resti since i've been there the first time in july (2006). i love the first floor and especially the old couches and armchairs - something thats too rare in viennese cafes i think. it creates a real laid back atmosphere and looks much better than any lounge-cafe/bar with it's all too fancy - new - con-tem-po-rary de-sign style.
plus the ronahi has a good assortment of various coffee as well as delicious - mike mentioned it - mediterranean food.
the only thing i dislike are (quite new) the opening hours, starting from 5 pm to sometime during the week (i don't know it for the weekends). that's a little restricting.
i didn't know that they've got DR PEPPER. man, i gotta go there soon again keeping this most important information in mind!

gestern seit ewigkeiten wieder mal ruppsbesuch - und hab mir die wampe vollgeschlagen!!! einfach unglaublich guet dieser doppeldecker (genauso wie all die anderen sachen)! 1A!!!

i was to this cinema once watching a movie, i think it was fear an loathing las vegas in 1998 or so...

when i was looking for breakfast yesterday in the early afternoon i came by there and went in for the first time since then. it was the first out of four cafes at this time on sunday that wasn't completely crowded. old furniture, chilling music (electronic-jazzy), nice atmosphere and prices quite o.k. i had a classical wiener frühstück (coffee, bread role, butter and jam, egg) for 4,90 - because i was kind of hungry. if i wouldn't have been hungry i'd have taken a regisseur frühstück - maybe the coolest breakfast i ever saw on a menu: kaffee, tschik (coffee, cigarette) for 2,90 (or so). that's movie nerd breakfast i guess.
