The best thing about this restaurant (IMHO): dry-rub ribs with garlic! Don't forget to put their phone number in your handy 'cause on a warm, sunny, summer day, you're going to want to call ahead for a reservation.
Used this for our wedding and reception. Was initially put off by how lackadaisical the staff seemed to be about preparations but in the end, both food and service were far beyond expectations.
Also great for a coffee or lunch. Take your bike, ride in the Praterallee.
I'd give their falafel five stars (as far as falafel goes in Vienna) but their service would get one star; so that averages to three stars, right?
It's only been a rare occaision that I've been there and their wait staff didn't need a serious attitude adjustment. I bear their less-than-ideal service only because the food is good.
We used this restaurant for our rehearsal dinner last August. Aside from the fact that the courtyard served as the perfect setting for our party of 20 on a gorgeous summer day, I really can't say that I've had service like we had here elsewhere in Vienna; it was without peer.
I led a restaurant club for approx. 1.5 years in Vienna and during that time, Yellow was the only restaurant in the city that would cut me a deal when I brought a big group. Hats off to them for that.
I dig their architecture but I find their food a bit too pricey. Favorite item: Miang Kum Blaetter. They're really fantastic. Otherwise, the food is ok as far as what I've had of Pan-Asian in Vienna.
