In der Gruft werden akute Verletzungen und Erkrankungen erstversorgt. Ärzte vom medizinischen Betreuungsbus „Louise” der Caritas behandeln zweimal wöchentlich die KlientInnen der Gruft. Psychiatrische Versorgung Ein Psychiater bietet in der Gruft 15 Stunden in der Woche psychiatrische Versorgung an. Postadresse Obdachlose sind ohne Wohnsitz und haben daher keinen Meldezettel. Ohne Meldezettel existieren sie für viele Behörden nicht und scheinen daher z. B. nicht in Wählerlisten auf. Post ist nicht zustellbar. Um hier Abhilfe zu schaffen, dient die Gruft für viele Betroffene als Postadresse. Beratung und Betreuung Die BetreuerInnen der Gruft haben immer ein offenes Ohr für die Sorgen und Nöte der Betroffenen. Aktuelle Probleme werden bei Erstkontakten und in weiteren Gesprächen "aufgefangen". Für die längerfristige zielorientierte Begleitung stehen diplomierte SozialarbeiterInnen zur Verfügung, die gemeinsam mit den KlientInnen – abgestimmt auf die individuelle Situation – Möglichkeiten zur Problemlösung entwickeln.
