Herkuttele Helsingissä!

Etsitkö Helsingistä uusia makuelämyksiä, mutta et tiedä mistä aloittaa?

Kehottaisin tutustumaan blogiin nimeltä Dinner 4U2. Kyseessä on kahden kolmekymppisen naisen, Pauliinan ja Mirkan, kirjoittama blogi, mikä sai alkunsa Eat Helsinki-kirjan inspiroimana. Kirjassa esitellään 12 Helsingin huippuravintolaa vuodessa ja kirjaa näyttämällä saa kyseisistä paikoista myös reilun alennuksen. Eat Europe-kirjoja on kirjoitettu myös muutamista Ruotsin ja Saksan kaupungeista.

Dinner 4U2:sta arvosteluja löytyy niin fiinimmistä paikoista, kuin myös edullisemmista vaihtoehdoista. Mikä parasta (tai ehkä pahinta jos on kova nälkä), jokaisessa jutussa on herkulliset kuvat, jotka tuovat veden kielelle!

Pauliinan ja Mirkan toisena intohimona (tietenkin ruuan jälkeen) on matkustelu. Kannattaa siis vilkaista muutama vinkki matkaan, jos kohteena on esim Dublin, Lontoo tai New York.

buzzattack – Austria’s first and probably finest Social Media Conference

Ambuzzador, which is one of Austria’s leading Social Media and Buzz agencies, is about to deliver their first conference on the afore mentioned topics – buzzattack. It’s all about how to create buzz and the web, how to communicate products and deal with failure or success when doing so.

They’ve also attracted some oversea speakers, which is always a good thing to have if you have paying atendees for your conference. Well, not really from overseas, but still a top speaker is Facebook’s Director for Germany. He’ll give a talk about

How Brands can benefit of an ongoing, interactive conversation on Facebook. Re-thinking the way how to engage with customers – it’s all about Conversation Marketing.

Apart from listening to his lecture there will likely be some people who simply want to talk to him, as we’ve seen when Chris Hughes (another caliber though) has been in town some months ago.

The coolest interactive campaign you’ll ever see

French high-class water producer Perrier has teamed up with an ad agency and Burlesque dancer Dita van Teese to create a unique and interactive online experience called Perrier by Dita. Van Teese, who is more famous in Europe than in her home country, the US, gained some popularity in Austria for being at last year’s Life Ball and showing off her skin in a uber-big glass of champagne filled with bubbles and water.

Her prurience has now apparently also caught the attention of Perrier, which is why they decided to create this expensive and complex campaign for marketing a new Dita van Teese branded Perrier drink. Apart from the fact that there is usually no difference between water, except for the one marketing people are trying to inject into our brains, those self-same marketing people did a really good job in promoting the drink.
